About Me

My photo
The Kitchen Chemist
Hi, I am Rinki Kapoor, an Organic Chemist by training and a Scientist by profession, based in the Bay Area. I am passionate about many things in life, like running, cross-fit training, hiking, reading, but my true love lies in creating food experiments in my personal lab at home. My cooking is very freestyle as I like improvising and substituting ingredients with what is readily available in my kitchen. Since I like entertaining, be it an intimidate dinner date, group of close friends or large parties, I am always looking for new recipes to experiment with. I created this blog in 2012 as a photo book for the food I have created and photographed. This blog is dedicated to my mom, who is a fantastic cook and my go to person for all Indian food recipes. My love for food is displayed by the thrill and job I get in reading, photographing, and experimenting with wide variety of cuisines, which I would like to share with you all.
